The purpose of the Rock of Ages Pentecostal Church Worship Team is to edify and build up the body of Christ by creating an atmosphere for the anointing of God to flow. Our goal is to lead our congregation into a passionate, exhilarating, and intimate time of praise and worship every time we come together. We want Rock of Ages Pentecostal Church to be a place where people can experience a divine encounter with the Lord and have their hearts prepared to receive the teaching of the Word of God. 1 Chronicles 16:8-11 NLT , Psalm 47:5-7 NKJV , John 4:24 NKJV , Psalm 9:1-2 NKJV
Worship teams play a key role in leading our congregation in corporate worship. We look for worship team members who delight in the Lord with all their heart, seek after humility in their musical talents, and encourage one another in brotherly love.
The worship team for corporate worship services is comprised of a core ensemble that may include the following:
- vocals
- keyboard
- bass guitar
- acoustic guitar
- electric guitar
- drums
Expectations of a Worship Team Member
- Be a follower of Jesus Christ, believing that he is your Lord and Savior.
- Be a covenant member of Rock Of Ages or be pursuing membership.
- Be committed to attending rehearsals on the week that you are scheduled to be on the worship team.
